PSEUDOPARNASO

é mais difícil abdicar do canto
que do ar que anima o corpo
e deixa que as palavras sejam ditas,
quais forem elas, dos sopros aos ventos,
perdendo-se no vazio dos sentidos
imediatos, nos vãos dos mesmos dias
de sempre, destinados ao silêncio

mas nas frestas entre as frases, nos cor-
redores entre os ditos,
onde espreitam a cor, a correção
das lacunas pelos meios tortuosos,
a desenformação
do efêmero, é que o canto se revela
e foge, ágil, dos mínimos ventos,

articulando-se no fio das
melodias que se pressentem nos
dias, só ouvidas quando se quer,

cantantes nos contornos das ideias,
das estátuas, das notas, das palavras,
de todas as coisas, do meu suspiro,
dos labirintos suspensos de mim
e dos outros

PSEUDOPARNASSUS

It is harder to let go of singing
than of the air animating the body and
allowing all the words to flow bespoken,
whatever they may be, from gushes to winds,
lost in the emptiness of immediate
meanings, in the chasms of the same
old days of always, destined into silence

but in the cracks ‘tween the clauses, in hall-
ways ‘round the sayings,
where color, the correction
of gaps through winding means,
and the unforming of the
faint linger, there, the singing is revealed
and flees, nimble, from the tiny winds,

clinging to the wire of
melodies felt throughout the
days, only heard when one desires,

resounding on the borders of ideas,
of statues, of notes, of words,

and of the hanging mazes of myself
